Originally from New Jersey in 1997 decided to migrate to the south an open up the first location in North Myrtle Beach. Previously he spent 30 years in the landscaping industry. He has been married to his wife Holly for 38 years and they have two daughters Erin & Jamie.

Jamie Goebel, General Manager
Jamie was born and raised in Ramsey, NJ. In 1997 she left to attend college at Elon University in North Carolina for a degree in Communications. After graduation she moved to Myrtle Beach and worked for Burroughs & Chapin Company for five years as a tournament sales coordinator for their golf division. She also ran the Horry Country chapter of the South Carolina Junior Golf Association. In 2004 she started part time helping out at Nick’s. In August 2006 she moved over permanently into the General Manager role to start preparing for Nick’s retirement.

Jim Cartin, Assistant Manager
Jim was born
and raised in Northeast
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For 12 years he worked at Santino’s Family Restaurant and Bar. For three years he worked as a manager for Hampton Inn hotel properties. In the summer of 2004 he decided to leave and move to South Carolina. He started with Nick’s in 2005 and worked his way up to Assistant Manager for the company. Jim oversees all store operations and the online retail department. In his spare time he also likes to participate in various charity golf tournaments around the Grand Strand.

Mike Brown, Tobacconist
Mike was born and raised in Reading, PA. He spent 25 years in the music business. First as a morning show DJ on a rock radio station. He then became a record promotions and marketing guy who traveled all around the country getting records played on radio stations. He finished his career as a consultant and a concert promoter. Mike has lived in the area for seven years and is enjoying working at Nick’s for five years.

Rebecca Hoshauer, Receiving & Reports
Rebecca was born and raised in Reading, PA and after working in the restaurant business for a few years decided to move to Arizona. She lived out west for three years working for the airlines and traveling every chance she had. After a quick move back to the Northeast she decided her next change would be to head south to Myrtle Beach. She started with us four years ago on the showroom floor and has since moved into receiving.
